The Anti drugs day

The program started with the morning prayer 🙏🏻 and pledge in an assembly.. 🕴️🕴️

Roy Sir the principal of M. G. D. G. H. S, kundara said the welcome speech. Krishna priya a student from 10 B gave the message📩 related to anti drugs day. Shri. Lalithambika mam from Health Centre Kanjiragode 🏥 gave an awareness class on health and  drug usage.. 💉🚬 and its bad effects on health. Josna T from 10th std said a pledge on anti drugs. The program ended at 10.30 am⏱️

Student teachers from 21 school shared their reflection regarding the last week activities in school 🏫....

Last week in most schools there were important days celebrated, such as the reading,,📖 week, international yoga day... 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘‍♂️🧘🏻‍♂️etc.

Most schools celebrated those days with purposeful activities for the students. Then in some schools teachers went for observing the teaching of teacher trainees and they shared about the same.Then after the teachers trainees reflection the teachers shared their observation programs. Then they told about suggestions to improve during the further teaching days.Apart from that they shared us with the positive features also.

THE NATIONAL READING DAY... 📖

 📅 June 19th

🏫M. G.D.G.H.S, Kundara 

⏱️ 9:30 am. 

There was an assembly where Rotary club of Kundara participated.The panchayat president Mini Thomas was present in the program. The chief guest for the event was Ft. Koshi Vaidhyan who conveyed the message for the day . The directory of the school was published by the Father. The principal of the school Roy Sir gave the presidential address. PTA president Mansoor sir gave felicitation to the program. The rotary club gifted a cycle 🚲 to a student called Soniya Sabu of 9A , who was academically efficient and financially unstable. Balachandran Menon sir, the president of Rotary club did the honors. The school diary was published on the same occasion by the principal. The library📚 was also inaugurated by the principal. The students who performed for the day was Adheena who gave a speech. Anju said the pledge. A group song was sung by students of 9D. A student called Prarthana was applaused for her drawing🎨🖌️. The assembly ended at 10:30am. Further, the students were given the stage on lunch break to give speech, sing song, reflect on books as part of the day. Mostly 5th standard students participated in it.

Yoga instructor Tulsi Sir was the chief guest. M.G.D BOYS and GIRLS participated in the yoga together. 

Different schools under the NCC 7K battalion was present on the occasion. 

It was a refreshment and enlightenment for everyone. 

The students brought the yoga mat... 

Yoga is not only for the body but also for the mind and soul...🤍 

The principals of both M. G. D boys and girls school honored the event....🥰

The significance of making yoga a daily routine was also the motto🙌🏻 of the event...

 

WEEKEND REFLECTION 2nd WEEK

The reflection was initiated by our teacher Praveena... 👩🏻‍🏫

She called student teachers from different schools.

First Leethu👧🏻 from Govt boys HSS, Adoor shared the reflection about their last week observation was there in their school.She told about that experience. She have a good teaching experience😉 there.But the timetable was not fixed yet...,🙆🏻‍♀️

Then Shincy from our 🏫 MGDGHSS, kundara told that they didn't get proper timetable and onsome the teachers got transfer.Also they were alloted to teach those students not able to read and write...📚📗

Drishya from St Gregorious school shared that there is no proper working labs...🔬📗The microscope were not working so they could show the specimen to students...

Then from Gov. HS, pooyapalli Liya saji shared the reflection.She told that we got proper timetable and we took the classes according to the lessonplans...,✌️☺️😊But the we noticed in the school that the students didn't know the proper spelling😕 of words.

Then from Marthoma GHS, Kottarakara school Arya murali told that their teacher didn't allow to teach based on the lessonplan... 😟☹️ The teachers needs complete the topic before July 2 .They want to cover the topic as soon as possible...,🔜💨 

Then from St Mary's school , Sruthy told that her mentor teacher also wanted to complete the topic as early as possible...🙆🏻‍♀️

Then finally Sreevindh👦🏻 from Marthoma H S, Arumurikkada told that the teachers in the schools were not ready to accept the teacher trainees.Through reflection it was clear that most of the schools didn't have proper time table and the teachers need to complete the topics as soon as possible. 

WEEKEND REFLECTION 1st WEEK

 After completing three days of teaching practice,there conducted a weekend general reflection for the first week in offline mode on college seminar hall... 

Student teachers from 22 schools 🏫 gathered today in the seminar hall to share their first week experiences of school internship phase two... 

At 10 am Principal Riju sir came and took the attendence and later he invited all the new teaching faculty 👩🏻‍🏫👩🏻‍🏫to the stage.....

Later he started the session by giving all the instructions to reflect in today's session.Then he called each representative from each school....o

At 11 am the session ended...

       As part of B.Ed curriculum school internship phase II started today. 

Including me 6 student teachers from our college is there admitted to this school...🏫 

two from physical science (Karishma, Susan) and two from natural science (Shincy, Aranya) and two from English(Athira, Reeja). 

At the sharp 🕘9:15 a.m. we had reached school... 

After the prayer we had signed the attendance register✍🏻 then we went to sign lesson plans from the mentor teachers. I don't have classes today . Then I got substitution in 7B. At noon we had served the noon meal🍱 to students. At 3.30 pm, we had signed the register and left the school .
