FIELD VISIT 2K22☺️😝

The student-teachers were divided into two groups and take for an option wise field trip... 🚌

The Social science, Malayalam and the Mathematics students were taken to Alappuzha. 

 The Natural Science, English, Physical Science was taken to Thiruvananthapuram. 

I am in second group who were going to Thiruvananthapuram, the places visited are namely Priyadarshini Planetarium🌌🔭, Thiruvananthapuram Zoo🐆🦁, Sri Chitra Art Gallery🎨.

We left Kottarakkara, by 8 O' Clock in the morning after having breakfast, then we reached the Planetarium by 11 in the morning, after visiting the place. we saw a lot of informative things. There were the pictures of famous astronomers, famous places in the  entry wall. After that we saw lot of informative sculptures and models related to space. At 11 am we entered into the sky theatre and saw a documentary related to the solar system. That was really interesting and very informative. That documentary took me into the other world. 

Then we had lunch😋 and visited the Zoo. We saw variety of birds animals, reptiles in the zoo. They are like visual treat to us.. 👏 it give wide knowledge about our subject.. 👌 beautiful and mesmerizing. 

And finally Art gallery. Pictures drew by the famous Raja Ravi Varma had there. Pictures drew by other famous persons were also showed in the art gallery. All the pictures were beautiful and drew in very detailed manner. 

 Then we visited the Kovalam beach...🌊🏖️

 We were under the guidance of Shivapriya Miss, Vineeth sir, and Reshma miss... 👨🏻‍🏫👩🏻‍🏫 

The whole trip was really enjoyable and informative. 

We learned a lot as well as received a lot of memorable experiences... 😌

 In total the trip was all about fun... 👌🎉😀

 

UNION INAUGURATION DAY✨

New college union and arts club inauguration of Baselios Marthoma Mathews 2nd Training College Kottarakara had been effectively conducted on 24th March.

Name of the college union is DEEKSHA👏💞😁💫

The program began at 10 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m.  The Chief Guest was Govt. College for Women, Assistant Professor July Madhav and Artist Anunand, Thiruvananthapuram.  And very Rev.  Zachariah Ramban, Roy sir, Union members, Teachers, students all participated together and various events were held.

On the leadership of Dhwani College union "Sadgamaya"😀 arts festival conducted in our college. Writing competition were held on 15th and 16th of March.

All the student teachers were divided into three groups. Hamsadhwani is the first group. Chakravakam is the second group. Third group is Hindolam. Both juniors and seniors were included in the groups. I am in the Chakravakam group.

On 17th March 2022 Arts fest was officially inaugurated. College union chairman welcomed all and then Rev. Fr Zakariya Ramban inaugurated the fest. Later Riju John sir ,staff secretary gave felicitation. Dr. Leena Wahid teacher, also gave felicitation for the programme. She was the staff coordinator of arts festival. Stemi Mirriya Sajan ,the arts club secretary gave vote of thanks.

On stage programmes were  started on 17/03/2022 .After the inauguration ceremony, the programme started.

Our Chkravakam team won the overall championship. 

Almost all the B. Ed trainees from 1st and 2nd years participated in various programmes.

I participated in Thiruvathira and I got 2rd prize. 

SREEVINDNATH V B become kalapradhibha and ANJANA B MOHAN become kalathilakam.

And a small holly celebration also done in this day.

Really this arts fest was a new experience for me. I got the opportunity to showcase my talents, also I am happy to bag prize for various events.

 

ART EDUCATION WORKSHOP

Today there were a workshop on art education.........🎭🎨 conducted in our college.

Respected M GOPALAKRISHNAN NAIR sir from Oyoor took the session. He is a retired HSA. He is a judge for various working model and art programmes. He is also taking various classes for various students in different courses.

Workshop session started at 10 am after the assembly. Later Riju sir introduced Gopalakrishnan sir and also gave some information about the workshop session.

Then Gopalakrishnan sir took the class. Firstly he gave introduction about  the importance of work experience and art education.

After that he entered into various products making session.

Firstly he made a beautiful spiral shaped item made of string and straw.

Second he made  two different puppets using paper glass.

Third he made greeting card.

Then he taught to made flowers using tissue paper and chart paper. 

Later he made a polygon shaped item using chart paper.

Last he taught us to make a photo frame.

All the items were so beautiful and useful in teaching learning process and important for a teacher trainee.

The class were so energetic and all the students attended the session with a curious and happy mind.

At 4pm the session ended. Riju sir gave a felicitation and Athira from malayalam department gave a vote of thanks..

Workshop on art education were so informative and useful for all the teacher trainees. Personally  I really enjoyed the session and got new ideas about the making of various items.

PI DAY CELEBRATION

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant pi .Pi Day is observed on March 14. Since 3,1,4 are the first three significant figures of pi.

Mathematics department of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College, ☺☺ also conducted programmes on pi day. They conducted the programme in a good way and manner.

They included various activities and programme. Principal Roy sir inaugurated the function. Mathematics head Dr. Leena Vahid miss gave a good speech. Later they presented the slides showed the importance of pi day.

Their dance related to the pi day was also fabulous. 

Later they conducted a quiz programme consist of three round.

Physical Science department won the quiz. 

This programme was superb and enjoyable.

 

WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION 🥳

INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY CELEBRATION 👭😀 

8th March 2022 

Really it was a huge and unforgettable day in my life. Our seniors organized the programme. Dr. Rajini Athmaja miss from DB College, Sasthamcotta was the chief guest.  Programme started with formal session.

Rajini miss inaugurated the function and shared her thoughts and experience. She is a Kalam's World Record holder. She is a poet.

Later our principal Roy sir also gave a good speech.

College Canteen was also inaugurated on this day.

After the formal session various programmes were conducted. All the department participated very well.

Physical science department first years conducted two programmes. Our first programme was the tribute session for famous women in various fields. Second was a dance programme. 

Game session was also there. Physical science department won one game.

Women's day celebration was enjoyable and attractive. It was an unforgettable day also.

 

DEMONSTRATION CLASSES

OBSERVATION OF DEMONSTRATION CLASSES

 on 2nd March 2022.

Observation of demonstration classes were conducted in our college. It was scheduled after the internal examination.

Natural Science students which had 15 students each. Demonstration classes were took by our seniors.

1st demonstration class took by Thasleema👩🏻‍🏫from 12.15 pm to 12.45 pm.She took the class from the topic defensive mechanism of plants 🍀

2nd demonstration class took by Liji from 1.15pm to 1.45pm.I personally loved the class.She took the class from the topic plastids🍊🍋🍒🍊

3rd demonstration class took by Abin from 2 pm to 2.30 pm.he took the class from the topic Respiratory system🌬️

All three demonstration classes were very effective and informative. They used many skills during their teaching sessions.It was Pupil centered and activity oriented. Learners were definitely understood each topic clearly.
